Summary

King Belshazzar throws a indulgent feast for the nobility of Babylon, during which, a supernatural hand appears and writes a cryptic message on the wall. Daniel is called to interpret the writing, revealing that Belshazzar's reign is coming to an end. That very night, the Persian army conquers Babylon and Belshazzar is killed, fulfilling the prophecy.
